VW Canada Recalls 5,585 vehicles Over Brake Issues

Volkswagen Canada is recalling a combined 5,585 vehicles from the VW and luxury Audi brand because of a problem with their brake systems.

The unspecified problem might cause gas bubbles to form in the brake fluid, according to a recall notice on Transport Canada’s website. The bubbles could cause “a soft brake pedal feel and a reduction in brake performance,” increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and damage.
